Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide superior customer service to enhance the client experience.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce customers to our range of savings, checking, and investment products.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally, resolving issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or cash-handling experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., bags of coin/currency).
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
