Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their financial needs and exceed expectations.
- Assist in the sale of bank products and services, such as savings accounts, CDs, and debit cards.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile daily cash drawers to ensure balances match.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer complex customer issues to appropriate departments.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a banking school or related coursework is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in using computer terminals and financial software systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a credit check.
