Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Cash checks and handle currency and coin with strict attention to detail.
- Cross-sell financial products such as savings accounts, CDs, and loans to meet branch goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile daily cash drawers.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in the operation of the teller line during peak hours.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
