Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve inquiries and issues efficiently.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual customer needs and bank goals.
- Ensure the security of cash and assets by adhering to all bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and daily cash reports.
- Assist in the maintenance of the lobby area and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the teller team and branch management to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in finance or business is preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Familiarity with banking software and computer systems is a plus.
- Must be willing to obtain any required banking certifications or licenses.
