Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments with a focus on speed and precision.
- Customer Engagement: Build rapport with clients, understand their financial goals, and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, internal controls, and security protocols to safeguard assets.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank products, services, and policies to educate and assist customers effectively.
- Administrative Support: Assist in branch operations, including opening/closing duties, balancing daily cash drawers, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or cash handling is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse clientele.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
