Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, by performing daily transactions and reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are resolved immediately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, trial balances, and profit & loss reports for management review.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to manage ledgers, track expenses, and process invoices efficiently.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation of payroll data, including W-2 and 1099 form generation.
- Compliance: Ensure all bookkeeping practices adhere to federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience in the US market.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of error-free record-keeping.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
