As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax concepts.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
