Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
- Process payroll for the organization in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Update and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for management.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
