Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and month-end closing reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Arizona state tax regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for diverse client portfolios
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial analysis and budget forecasting
- Lead quarterly client reviews and provide actionable insights
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven track record in full-cycle accounting for SMBs
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and financial software
- Arizona Sales/Use Tax filing experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a major plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
