As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with our finance leadership to provide timely reporting and insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process payroll entries and assist with payroll tax filings.
- Prepare and send invoices, and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Comply with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
