Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets for management review.
- Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Compliance & Tax Support: Maintain organized financial records and support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Expense Management: Review and approve expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; Certified Bookkeeper (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
