Apex Financial Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing office in the heart of London. Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll and ensure all HMRC compliance requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers using Xero and Sage.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Strong proficiency in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage).
- AAT Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and VAT rules.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced spreadsheet functions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
