Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts across 15+ client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with analytical commentary
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with strict adherence to payment terms
- Process payroll bi-weekly using ADP and ensure timely tax filings
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for new client onboarding
- Conduct quarterly account reconciliations and support annual audits
- Develop financial forecasting models for strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CPA candidate preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven expertise in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates under 0.5%
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
