Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and payroll processing.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices with high accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
