Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure complete accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with high attention to tax compliance and deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and generate financial reports for stakeholders.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and audit preparation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and federal tax laws.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
