Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including sales and purchase ledgers.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries for monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Assist with VAT returns and ensure full compliance with UK tax legislation.
- Process payroll and manage employee expenses.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team on year-end audits and financial statements.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Full AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant within the UK market.
- Advanced proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks accounting software.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
