Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform thorough bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Process tax documents and assist in annual audits with external auditors.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data and generate reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
