Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
- Lead tax preparation and documentation for state/federal filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reconciliations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with stakeholder management experience
