Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Process payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or queries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
