Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card balances to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Maintain and organize general ledger systems and financial records.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
