Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform comprehensive monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and schedules.
- Maintain and update fixed asset schedules, depreciation records, and general ledgers.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including vendor onboarding and invoice verification.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company financial policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and software integration.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Advanced) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles, financial reporting standards, and auditing procedures.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- CPA certification is a significant plus.
