Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now, maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns and state reports.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, and benefits.
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards (FLSA, state tax laws).
- Expert proficiency in payroll software, specifically ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong mathematical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll topics clearly to staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
