Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity general ledger accounts with zero tolerance for discrepancies
- Prepare month-end closing reports including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with automated workflow optimization
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online for 15+ client portfolios
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews for SOX adherence
- Collaborate with CPAs on tax preparation and financial strategy
- Develop customized financial dashboards for client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years progressive experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in multi-state sales tax compliance (FL, GA, NY)
- Proficient in Excel with Power Query and Pivot mastery
- Proven track record of reducing month-end close by 30%
- Familiarity with construction industry accounting a major plus
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
