Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for clients
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Manage QuickBooks software implementation and optimization
- Assist with audits and ensure SOX compliance adherence
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for stakeholders
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Expertise in GAAP principles and tax regulations (CA state knowledge a plus)
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting accuracy
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
