Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to mid-sized businesses
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger transactions monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with analytical insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems with advanced customization
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and financial audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting and sales tax filing
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (0.5% reconciliation tolerance)
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced client service environment
