Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity general ledger accounts with precision
- Process complex payroll, tax filings, and quarterly financial statements
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow forecasting
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive stakeholders and auditors
- Lead month-end closing processes and ensure SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 4+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Expertise in multi-state sales tax compliance and payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Experience with forensic accounting and fraud detection techniques
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
