Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific financial regulations
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies through detailed investigation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in public or corporate environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly preferred
