- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and ensure data security protocols
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software and accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven ability to manage multi-state compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and financial forecasting
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
