Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Coordinate annual audits and support tax preparation with external CPA firms
- Implement financial controls and process improvements for operational efficiency
- Train junior staff on accounting procedures and software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proven track record of reconciling complex accounts and financial statements
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with multiple priorities
