Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations with high precision.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and monthly management reports.
- Process payroll for multiple clients and ensure tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile client credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain financial data integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
