Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations for 15+ client portfolios
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable including vendor communications and collections
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and management commentary
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multi-state clients
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for new clients
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict deadline adherence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Experience with multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (<0.5% error tolerance)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
