Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Implement and maintain organized digital filing systems for financial records
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season to provide supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Proven track record of maintaining error-free financial records
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance in Texas
- Professional certification (QB ProAdvisor, AAP) highly desirable
