Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for client workflows
- Coordinate with tax preparers during quarterly/year-end cycles
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Knowledge of sales tax filing (BOE) and payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly valued
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills for client interactions
