Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping software workflows
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax season
- Train junior staff on financial procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Enterprise
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- CPA certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Expertise in multi-entity bookkeeping
- Proven experience with sales tax filings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
