Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with tax preparers for quarterly/year-end filings
- Implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead month-end closing procedures with 48-hour turnaround
- Maintain digital client document vaults with organized record-keeping
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
