Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 portfolio clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare month-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and manage tax compliance filings
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and collections
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and software utilization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations
- Experience with sales tax filings (CO state-specific)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
