Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for S-Corps and LLCs
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly tax preparations and audits
- Implement process improvements using Excel automation and accounting software
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, QuickBooks ProAdvisor)
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and financial forecasting
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP)
