Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile the general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and verified.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax documents and support external audit processes.
- Oversee accounts payable operations, including vendor management and efficient invoice processing.
- Utilize advanced accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain and organize digital financial records.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and detailed reporting to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting management systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines effectively.
