Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly
- Prepare and process payroll for 15+ employees bi-weekly
- Generate financial statements and variance reports for client review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and assist with tax preparation
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Louisiana tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
