Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
