Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including trial balances and financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation support, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and state regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track and manage financial data efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
