Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews and tax filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Support budgeting processes and financial forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in a corporate setting
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting information systems
- Proven track record of month-end closing and financial reporting
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Texas tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving abilities
