Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients across industries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (CA/Federal)
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online enterprise systems
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Develop financial forecasting models for business growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in public/private sectors
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
- Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- CPA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred
