Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and financial audits.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both digital and physical documents.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with general ledger maintenance and variance analysis.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is a strong plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
