Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax packages and audit schedules.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and software integration.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA license is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
