Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multi-departmental financial planning
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial audits, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Utilize advanced Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Sage) for financial modeling and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and accounting software
- Proven experience with remote collaboration tools and self-directed project management
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
