Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts for multiple clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll functions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure cash flow accuracy
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Provide strategic financial guidance to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- CPA or certification in bookkeeping preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client communication abilities
