Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements.
- Manage general ledger entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management review.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management.
