We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in Memphis, TN. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy of our financial records and support our clients' business growth.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and issue financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll using our preferred HR software, ensuring all tax filings are current.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to maintain detailed ledgers and track expenses.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to detect discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
