Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with variance analysis
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with IRS and Colorado state regulations
- Implement and maintain accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Colorado tax regulations
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
